Ladle cranes and steel service

Zerbinati is experienced in building overhead cranes of all kinds for steel services, both for furnace cranes and for scrap yards and workshop. The Zerbinati’s ® steel overhead cranes are machines designed for special services and for handling and lifting large weights, which must withstand high temperatures. Nowadays Zerbinati ® designs these machines with the best technological solutions and the most up-to-date safety systems, always starting from the customer's specific requests and design data in order to offer the best customized solution.
The support beams are designed according to the electro-welded box model. The end beams can be either in standard section or in the box-type. The wheels can be with angle support or with hollow shaft. Our cranes can be equipped with a trolley hoist or with a standard winch trolley produced by Zerbinati®. The command and control equipment can be manual or PLC-managed ad hoc programmed by our technicians. Movements can be carried out by means of a radio control, a pendant push-button control panel or a control cabin.
The machine is equipped with 1 or 2 maintenance catwalks, fall arrest systems and all the necessary safety devices. All Zerbinati ® projects are developed in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42 /EC, the service classifications UNI ISO 4301 or FEM 1.001 III ed. Rev.1998, and in compliance with the local directives or with the specific use requirements requested by the customer.
